Our vision for Kinghorn Loch and surrounds:

A beautiful, peaceful yet accessible and vibrant place, with a sustainable balance of environmental, educational, economic, leisure and social pursuits

Enjoyed by all people of Kinghorn and beyond.

Secured by care, excellent stewardship and community ownership.

 Our Aims:

To acquire, conserve and manage land and land assets for the public benefit in or near to the Kinghorn Community.

To help conserve and regenerate the community in such a way as will not adversely affect the current rural environment.

To promote the use of such land and land assets for conservation, environmental, recreational, social welfare and educational purposes for the benefit of the Kinghorn Community and the public generally, as an important part of the protection and sustainable development of Scotland’s natural environment.

To advance the education of the Community about its environment, culture and history.

Many thanks are due to Nellie Phillips for her fascinating recollections of growing up in Kinghorn.
